first in ages
First pen iv made in months (since tablesaw took a bite out of my thumb)
its a gift for a Doctor leaving the hospital were my wife works
Jr Emperor wrapped in a brown mallee burl with a strip of red mallee burl down middle
it took me several goes to get it right
1st didnt get propper adheasion between parts (started to seperate when i drilled them)
used slow setting epoxy
2nd drilled hole for the cap off centre so back to drawing board
dont think i will make another like this again too many factors to go wrong for my liking

I made an Emperor some years back but the design of the kit is quite different.

Tony that pen worked out on the money difficult to line up during assembly for you a snap love the Burl.
