Amboyna Burl
Lovely timber to work with throw in some bark for contrast as well.
While I was away several new pens found homes the latest one is off to Saudi Arabia this week establishing another friendship, Akem returns in another couple of months to Adelaide to continue his post graduate degree. He sent me some exquisite dates from his family date farm he rates among the finest anywhere, sure are good eating sweet as. No pics did happen. Huon Pen from the same stick of wood also given to a mate in Tassie,s daughter who collected my Settlers Cottage made by her Dad when she was visiting the family from Victoria she then drove the work of art to me safe hand it was bulky and large to avoid damage Pic later this week.
Kind regards

They are both great looking pens Peter.
The form and fit on the Amboyna are perfect, and the facets on the Huon set it apart from the rest.

Peter - very nice pens.
The faceted Huon is brilliant.
How do you achieve the facets?

A short answer for me how to facet my way. Please look up The Pen Shop. The Pen Shop News, at the first entry April 2009 ref Peter Hay (peterinaus) page 7.
This description is simple and various mods have followed.
Have fun.
Kind regards Peter.Nil Desperandum
