April pens
DSCF9050.jpg A few glue ups for this month all Slims. Got a surprise one stuck out brass a carry over from a Dick Sing Special that used a longer brass in the lower half marketed that way in the US forever ago. I dip into a large box of brass sleeves. Another stuck nearly in it will be the top of that pen. Waiting to be trimmed and turned starting tomorrow.Occassionally a brass with a notch cut out turns up a reminder of the time in the far past when we had to notch a recess for the clip. I used to buy hundreds of kits in parts.

Can’t wait to see that lot turned into pens Peter. And thanks for the history reminder, we are certainly spoilt with variety these days, I started turning pens in the early ‘90s, there were some pretty atrocious kits on the market back then. The Slimline hasn’t changed since then, except more plating choices now.
