I often do Tassie Tiger Myrtle but I really like the lace black wood ...

Forums member Tas Sculptor often sells quite superb Tasmanian Blackwood in blocks on these forums - you would have to cut the blocks to pen blank sizes. (I have no financial or other connection but have bought many beautiful timber blocks from him as I love the timber for boxes/bowls etc.)
