    Default Bluegum Baron Fountain Pen

    G'day All,

A bluegum Baron fountain pen with black Ti kit (from Brett) for a friend who has been pestering me for a while. He's offered to pay but I won't take his money (I did tell him a million bucks but he didn't believe me ) Sanded to 1200 w&d then burnishing oil and finally friction polish (CA on tubes only ). I've included a closed end Baron (now my daily work pen) I did a while ago for finish comparison. I'm happy with the durability so far (2 months).

    Thanks for looking.
    David

Are you using Ubeaut's friction polish? If you are you should be applying it to raw timber.

Thanks Toasty and others for your kind comments,

Rustins friction polish. Haven't had a chance to put my hands on our dearly beloved benevolent dictators product yet but I have an eye open when I'm in town. Perhaps I need to make a special trip.

No worries, David. Haven't used the Rustins so can't comment on application
