    Default Boomaroo the Kangaroo

From the USA to Australia and back! "Boomaroo" is a Top Shelf blank from Jeff Powell; I like it, it is all acrylic or resin,(I love wood myself). Was a little cautious in turning because it isn't a cheap blank, and with all that work Jeff put into it I understand why it is what it is.
I did not use any sealant or finisher like CA etc, just wet sand with Acrylic pads to 15000 and car polish.
The kit is a Jnr. Statesman, hope you like it and your comments appreciated. The outside photos do not give the true colour of the blank, the inside photos do give the true colour. Amos

Another very nice pen as usual, I like the outside colour the best, is there no limit to what technology can do with pen blanks.

You must be spending heaps on blanks from US lately Amos, the postage must be killing you.

The blank is not my cup of tea, but opens the eyes to numerous ideas when you have a lazer like yourself

Mik, no he doesn't have a website, on IAP you have to go to "Individual Classifieds" then look for his posts called "topshelf". Amos

It is a real pity, because that blank took some doing on Jeff's part, maybe the colour of the main portion could have been yellow or green or white, with the kangaroo in dark brown and the boomerangs in bright colours!? Amos
