Brushed Ali Tempest
I have not turned a pen for a long time and thought it about time I did one.
I have some ali bar which I was given. it has sat in my blank draw for quite some time OK like many of my blanks
So Ali on a gold Tempest. I was going to go for the full shine but decided it would have been just too much with the gold so went with a brushed effect, I am glad I did go this route

These are the tools used the top one I found best to remove the bulk of the material

Well done! I've never tried to turn a pen of metal and I have a metal lathe to boot. I assume the aluminium is a 6061 alloy? I like the Tempest. It has a nice click mechanism.
