CA Success
Hi all
I had written in previous threads that I was looking for ways to use CA for finishing on a budget. I was very lucky that Mark from 043 Turning - Location Choice put me onto a product called MitreFix link http://www.043turning.com.au/index.p...ewCat&catId=30
I have been trying this product with great success I have previously showed a couple of pens but I am finding that they are disappearing as soon as I make them. If there is anyone like me who is unsure about good CA finish I can recommend this product. I know there are plenty of others out there but I like this one. So thanks to all those who gave me advice about CA and using CA this forum has been the best place for advice other than the face to face at my club.
Cheers Skewturn

I use this stuff, but just the accelerator to dry my coats of thin CA. What do you do with the thick CA which comes in the box? I have 3 containers of the stuff now!

You can buy this CWS Store - Hot Stuff QA-6 NCF Quick Accelerator | Carroll's Woodcraft Supplies and you dont have to buy the glue as well.

If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better"
