    Default Cappuccino Swirl

Here's one of my latest blanks (alumilite) turned into a custom slimline. I had a little design issue with the finial. I may redo that part as I'm not real happy with it (seems like I say that a lot ). The nib, centerband, and finial are a really dark brown with some light brown swirls. They are hard to see in the photo's, but they are there.

I wish I had a video of pouring that blank. Well, 3 blanks actually. It went nothing like I planned, and I thought I'd get a brick to use as a door stop. I spilled a cup (about 1/3 of it), and it's a 4 color pour. when your trying to pour, and keep alumilite from spilling on the floor, then getting the mold into a pressure pot. . . . . . . . . . . well, you get the idea. I ended up with 3 blanks that are a little undersized but big enough for slimlines due to spilling the cup. I may be able to do a Baron if I'm really careful when drilling the cap.

Now that's an idea. Take the cappuccino pens to a coffee shop for them to sell.
