Chip off the ****house seat
I was asked to make a Slim line stylus pen they other day. I have to say they are such a versatile pen for modifications but this is just the basic B2B turning.
I have a pretty twisted sense of humor. So when I was asked to make this for a neighbor's child I was told he was a of a child mostly but seeing it was a neighbor I did as I was asked.
I was not told what type of timber to be used because I was the pen maker and would know what's best. Well seeing I knew what was best I cut a blackout of an old thunder box dunny seat lid. She who could not see the humor in my choice of timber but I thought the correlation of a of a child and dunny lid showed I put a lot of thought into it..... Apparently not [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Some of the most expensive violins use urine cured timber.

Sure lifted the lid on that mystery. Don,t forget to put the lid down mate. Good use of box wood.

Well, that'd rate as a $***house choice of timber, then, wouldn't it?

Hope he isn't one to hold the pen in his mouth when he needs both hands.

I have a seat in the shop now waiting to be cut into blanks. I don't throw much wood away.
