Chrome Streamline Brown Mallee Burl
G'day Addicts,
I bought myself a new Olympus camera the other day and this is the first pic I have taken with it, still getting the hang of all the things I can do with it. This is a Berea Hardwoods Chrome Streamline for my sister-in-law in Brown Mallee Burl that I got from Penpal. The finish is Shellawax as requested by customer. Comments on pen and pic appreciated.

Now we can see how shoddy your workmanship really is .
Nuh seriously, very nice. Great picture, looks like the burl polishes up very nicely. I am sure your S-I-L will be very happy with that oneCheers

Thanks guys for your comments, penpal done a great job getting the Brown Mallee Burl for us. I have quite a bit of it so if anyone would like some I am only asking $2.50 each for them.
Sam if you need a new camera get ya butt to Domayne they have a great special on at the moment I got an Olympus 7.1 megapixel for only $180 it was a bargain.

Burly Pen
G'day Froggie
Very schmick pen, and your photography isn't too shabby either! Only suggestion I would make about the latter is to crop your image to make the pen central and reduce the dominance of the background - try angling the pen across the grain of the background for even more contrast and interest.Subvert the dominant paradigm!

You know you're doing things right when the only faults that can be picked are all to do with your photography...

Well at least I did the right thing as far as the pen goes because when I emailed her a the pic she rang me and ordered another 4 of them.

No Barry you never missed a post mate it was a personal stab at the people who think they have a monopoly on the sale pen kits. It was in no way intended for or directed at any of you guys who make pens and I apologise to anyone who took offence to it.
I have now removed it.
