Are you sure it is rosewood and not cocobola?
Sure looks like cocobola...but it dosen't matter, the pen is fantastic, and for a first pen you should be quite proud...keep it on display and compare your 10th pen to it and I think you will realize you have made a great looking writing instrument first time out.

pen from rosewood
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the comments. i do woodworking only with rosewood,
so anything you see are from rosewood Indonesia origin, its has more figures and colour than the one from India, but its same specie ( dalbergia latifolia ).
if you guys need such beautiful wood just let me know.
here's my picasa album, enjoy them.

So not much rosewood in your neck of the woods
I like the house but if I was going to be critical I would have to say there is too much of a good thing and the true beauty gets lost in the shear volume. I still like it and would be proud to own a house like that even more proud if I could say i built it
And think how many pen you could make out of your houseCheers Rum Pig

Welcome to the forum Deni
What a way to enter great pen and blanks. I have not seen rosewood like that.
I have made lots of that kit and think they are excellent pens especially the rhodium ones, they really show off a beautiful blank.
The kits will be available here soon i am told

Rosewood
Hi Deni. I am from New Zealand and love the rosewood you have (and your pen is beautiful too). Do you intend sending small quantities of the rosewood to mail order customers? Thanks, Denis
