    Default cooktown ironwood burl sierra

this is another from prossy weekend its a piece of cooktown ironwood burl , i got a small piece of brad ( aka ironwood ) he has only ever seen a couple of burls
so im guessing its getting close to being rocking horse @#&*
anyway finished with 2 coats of CA then a light sand with 1500 wet n dry ( wet )
then EEE then GLOW , i have found that the CA gives it a good seal without being able to chip then the EEE and GLOW
    really bring out the shine

    Hey Troy

Wow that's rare stuff you have there.

Beautiful fit and finish on the pen. Mirror finish - you could probably shave with it.

    Thanks for sharing.

Lookin good Troy. Your finish looks superb.

I left a pen made out of the same burl sitting on the bench in the shed recently with the hot days. Its got a nice crack in it now

Very nice. Just back from out winter away and have a large lump of Cooktown Ironwood staring at me in the shed. Looking good.
