    Default A Couple of Knots

well here be the first pens i have pulled off the lathe in i don't know how long

    Celtic Knots -
    Red Gum and Huon Pine
    or would you prefer
    Huon Pine and Red Gum

very happy i think these must be the first knots where i have managed to get the knots to line up exactly across the cuts

finish is BLO/CA, must be like riding a bike worked first time

    thanks for looking

Mik, I always get "jealous" when I see Knots, have not ever done one, so one day will try it. Very attractive and well done, Amos

They came out well. Looks like the cuts were dead on. Thanks for showing.

    thanks guys appreciate the comments

the best part about these knots for me is not the putting together or the end result, its actually watching them transform while turning - from straight lines to curved

Very well done. I am not at the stage to do one of these yet. In time I hope.
