    Default Cross Style Bloowood

50 caliber ballpoint using an Maple nib.
Sanded to 400x, buffed with super fine steel wool and applied 6 coats of MINWAX Clear Satin Wipe-On-Polyurethane which is thin enough and works great with the Dipping Method to apply.
Using a 11/32" brad point bit to to imitate a spent primer.
These along with the 50 caliber tooth pick holders are great sellers at the gun shows.

Currently working on some Parker style.

    Les

Really fantastic Les !. I'm jealous of all you retired guys, having time to spend experimenting on neat stuff. Summer here in the tropics, too hot to work in my shed anyway. Cheers, and great work !

Nice work as usual Les !!

And Russell I do tend to agree, I would prefer one of these to the real casing.

    Cheers

Les, I have always admired your work but today I attempted to to make your 50 cal pen and toothpick holder. Very creative idea and a great projects. I have no idea what you sell these beautiful items for but I hope you are faster at making them than I.

Needless to say I won`t be in competition with you.
Thanks for showing your great work.

Brillant work Les. That is magnificent. Geez if we had gun shows like yours over here you could pay for a holiday in Oz just by selling those works of art.
