Dead Finish Modified Slim
For this one I used a European upper tube, which is longer than a standard Slimline tube. I cut the 2 wood blanks the same length, and glued the Resin offcut on the tube as well.
The pen is 12.6mm diameter . I am not happy with the taper that meets the nib component, I just cut it with the skew and eyeballed the angle, I thought it was the same taper as the nib until I pressed it on.
2 coats of thin CA and buffed with 0000 steelwool.

Thanks Euge. Yes the shape has annoyed me enough, I have taken the pen back down to the shed. I will disassemble and reshape it to a more pleasing profile.

I disassembled the lower section, re-turned and re-finished.
I think this profile is a bit easier on the eye.
