Been doing a series of spalted timber
DSCF7874.JPGDSCF7873.JPG
The timber is from Kentucky in the States forever ago, the Ink Pot is at least 80 yrs old Mulga and the weird rest is Grapevine Root from Pierre in the centre of France.
Spalted timber deserves plastic reinforcement but I don,t do that.

This isn't usually my section but I'm also a turner and spalted wood is one of my favourites. I don't stabilize my wood with plastic either.
Thats some great work Pete. Both items are simply beautiful.
