My wife hired a knee scooter to get about for for months after foot surgery. She found it much easier than crutches or wheel chair. Google shows plenty of pictures

I like ladies that use them, my Mother always told me NEVER to chase fast women!!!!
While you're thinking of things to do in the shed, jot them down on a pad, otherwise when you do get out to the shed, you'll have probably forgotten them.

You should not do that Michael ... it can hurt, but I suppose I should
    have told you that beforehand.

Seriously, hope you have a speedy recovery.

Now I can get off the walking frame to start using my walking stick more. I have been out to the shed and fixed the rechargeable shaver. 1 hour was enough till the pain started up.
Kryn I have been listing jobs to do but first on my list is a herring bone pen blank to get it done .
    Regards Michael

Looks like a sit down lathe is a good option right now. Love the Lace she oak pen.

Trust you follow orders and the ankle heals well.

    Cheers,artme.

Stupid me had the moonboot off after being out at the doctors and physio this morning. I we to the loo urgently turned and twisted my ankle and now it's really sore. Taken 3 lots of pain killers overnight to get some sleep. Now I'm just going to wait and keep off it for the next couple of days and hope it settles
