    Default Exchange student pen

We have an exchange student visiting with us at the moment so thought I'd give her a play on the lathe. The pen is an Australiana Executive Sierra in Birdseye Huon Pine. I've found this is by far the easiest wood to teach on. I applied the CA finish and stabilised the chisel but Iori did the vast majority of the work.

You have taught her well. That is probably something that most exchange students wouldn't get a chance to experience. Hopefully it will be a good talking point for her when she goes back.

Nice Job Corbs, I love the wood.

I am sure she is going to remember your family everytime she uses or sees that pen.

    Thanks for sharing.
