    Default Flat Top Sierra's

This is the start of our winter season and it warmed up to 4.4C and I could get into the garage and on the lathe.

The camera does not capture the beauty of either of these pens.

First up is a nice piece of X-Cut Paduk

Next is Honduran Rosewood Burl next to the Paduk

My favourite is the rosewood, though they are both great.

The background in the first pic is too busy, IMHO, though it does look nice as a picture!

We're in the mid-30c here at the moment, so send some of that cold our way please.

Great looking pens. The finish you have on them is spectacular.

It hit 37 Celsius today. Almost melted in the shed. Dreading tomorrow when its going to be over 40.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Thumbs up

Very nice trio there mate! Love the Honduran.

Others have commented on the backgrounds. I agree. Plein backgrounds show up the pen much better.

Great pictures, backgrounds are a lot better as they make the pen the centre of attraction, they way it should be! Lovely pens too!!

Thanks Nick ... you need a refill????

As long as it took me to get it to you there should be plenty of ink left.

Thanks Mark ... got to figure out how to take pics indoors. Snow on the way today so no more outdoor shots unless I use a snowball as a backdrop.
