Sometimes you get Golden and Red on the one tree I suspect this blank is between both definitions.

    Sometimes called New Guinea Rosewood.

Plenty of "WOW" in that one Peter. Nice work Mate.

I have a piece of that stuff just waiting for me to do something with it, maybe from the same tree

    Hi Peter,
Nice pens. Lovely wood showing plenty of grain and colour. What finish have you used on these? Thoroughly enjoyed our chat last night.
    Cheers,
    Mac

Great to say gday yesterday Mac. Two coats of CA getting to be my normal treatment. I only use medium Zap-a-Gap,I buy the 2oz . Bought a new one yesterday I can tell when to do that it does not want to dry normally.I buy it at a Modelling place these people have brisk turnover with scale modellers etc.

    Peter.
