Toni, congrats on the news ! Very VERY pleased for you .

Hope the daughter works out OK!

I understand, between a sick partner and now a kitty with cancer (a month left max) I probably won't be around very much nor likely to be in the shop at all either.

If I don't make sense, I'm fried, but still happy for you .

    Default Toni shaking

Well done! Never mind Banjo Patterson and Waltzing Matilda and the dinosaur tracks at Lark Quarry, you will put Winton on the map.

Re recognition of work. Very well done Dear. Nice to see that "They" have finally woken up to your talents and skills - We already knew that you had them.

Take care. Hope that you, and your partner are well enough to share a good leave-taking with Cat as she gets ready to go Home.

Hey Toni congrats on the good news. Use to work on Hamilton was I was young Nearly 40 that is bad, was 18 when I was there did save much but had some hard core parties though. Has the gallery been named yet? How far from completion before it opens? Come on Toni we all want to know you can't keep us hanging. Still have a couple of friends on Hamilton I think, they may be on another island now, if they are there I will have to get them to buy me a Toni original if they can afford it. You will be getting big bikkies now.

Toni, should have stopped shaking now, had time to think about it all. Good one.
Think it out very carefully. Hope it rains in Winton.

Darren I am none the wiser yet plus I have just walked through the door about an hour ago. We arrived home on the bus this afternoon but she is feeling better. However Darren I don' expect any reply for at least 30 days. It was being submitted to a board for decision

Hope it works out well for you Toni.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

"Signing on our 'spare house'. Jees, some turners are lucky to have spare turning tools. Best of luck to you, Toni. The world is keeping an eye on you..but if it doesn't turn out [which it will] we will ALL be just as proud of you for being picked. That is an honor that anyone would be proud of. Hope that young turnrer is feeling up to par real quick so she can give Mom some competition again.

Well I was starting to think this was all over and out. My mum is a pushy kind of person. She rang them on friday to see if they got my submission. I have found out that the pens are of still high interest. I have now got the job of making 30 especially for display (Would like special edition designs for the occasion) and then I have to take them over to see in person.
So things are still moving slowly in this front. Starting to get nervous but I do think this is a great thing for us to.
    bye Toni
