    Default Over my head

DSCF9048-001.jpg From the top Ringed Bendee,Darwin Grey Box,Figured Gidgee,Gidgee,Figured Waddy Wood,Waddy Wood,Inland Rosewood Queensland labelled Rodoxylon. Camera with flash on the kitchen table.

Why over my head the colours are so variable within species and my aim is to show a few of the heaviest dense aussie timbers. What brought this forward is using the Darwin Grey Box I have been asked to make some pens for a mate who cut this timber.

    Kind regards Peter.

Very nice selection Peter, of dense (mostly) inland woods. And as you say quite variable in colour.
Should make some very nice pens with your skills. We look forward to seeing the turned results.

    best regards, Euge

A very tasty batch of timber blanks Peter. Looking forward to seeing your results with them.
