Jnr. Statesman Polymer Clay FP
It has been a great joy to "turn" this pen, a Jnr. Statesman Fountain Pen dressed with a Polymer Clay blank from ExoticBlanks in USA. The Artist is Toni Ransfield, "Toni" on IAP. The blank comes "raw", all that is needed is final sanding and then finishing according to your choice, my finish is CA. I just can't get my mind around how she does this amazing artistry?? Meanwhile, hope you enjoy the pen as much as I, your feedback is welcome. Amos

I really can't comprehend how people make those pens... the depth of colour is amazing. Nicely done
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Well done Amos that's a beauty. Toni has really made a great blank for you to turn.
You have done her proud and made a great pen, I am sure that one will not hang around too long.
Nice fit as usual and the finish is your signature.
I have looked at those blanks a few times but must turn and sell some of my other good blanks before I venture to them.
Good to see you are the first Aussie to shoe one.

I asked a "dumb" questiom--Were the flowers put on one at a tome??? thinking it might be a print stuck on the clay--the answer from Toni was:
Yes they are, every single flower is placed on one at a time....sounds exhausting to even say it.. Good thing I love what I do
All I can say is WOW! I better study this Polymer Clay thing a little more so I can answer intelligently! AmosGood, better, best, never let it rest;
