    Default First Jr Statesman

This is my first attempt at the Jr Statesman 22k kit. The blank is Tiger Myrtle, thanks DJ it was from the blank swap, I hope it did it justice.

    The finish is EEE glow

Great timber but then I would say that wouldn't I , not so sure about the slight curve on the barrel though, looks out of place when the cap is off but not so bad when it's on
    Cheers

    Wow, great looking stuff, Sam!

I think the Jr Statesman is still my favorite pen to date. Never turned one meself, but they definitely look much better than the Gentlemens except for the rare occasion where you really need to showcase a busy blank over the kit, and then the plain-ness of the gent is nice.

How's the shoulder holding up? Still spouting the naughty words?

(yeah, I'm still alive, just up to my ears in shop reorg and setting up to sell blanks. I'll be back in full force soon, good or bad for some of you! heh)

That Pen speaks volumes re thought and make,it is worthy of the kit and the maker, and yes I too like Myrtle in this Tiger form and others, just itching to get amongst mine.

Sam great choice of timber to compliment the kit but as Dj said the barrel seems out of place in relation to the straight sided cap
