Kit less pen parts ( fountain pens)
Hi all, looking to make a gift for a friend and wanted to try some kit less bulb filled fountain pens . So looking for suppliers of bulbs here in Canberra ( also in Australia ) if need be really wanted them for the W/end but as it's last minute I'm sure they will understand ...
Any one bald to help please give me a call....Hahappy to cover parts and postage

Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

please excuse my ignorance but Bulb ? is that the small inch long things that hold the ink and push into the end of the fountain pen ?

most fountain pen kits you will buy are actually cartridge pens ..... primarily designed to take prefilled cartridges.
There is a piston type cartridge that plugs in where the standard refillable usually goes, this gives a pretty much fountain like operation.
In my youth cartridge pens where a bit of a fad, we used to refill the cartridges just by squeasing them in an ink bottle.

Thanks for all your replies , but this is for a kit less pen there is no cartridge or plunger here . The reservoir Will be the body and at the end opposite to the nib is a bulb or sack that when squeezed will expel air out of the barrel nib then goes into a bottle of ink and bulb is released , sucking ink into the main body . On e full a cap is screwed over the bulb to prevent a credential release of ink and complete the body of the pen
