Welcome back Amos.
Its's good to see you recovering, and getting back in front of the lathe.
I actually started my pen turning in a 4'x5' closet in an appartment, so I know where you are coming from.

Thanks Darrin, I am going back to "hand tools", like a hacksaw instead of band saw, holding coarse sandpaper against the blank to get the initial sharp edges off instead of a belt sander, and using an elcheapo drill press instead of my precision Mill. I am getting there, would be good to visit you one future day! Amos

Amos, good to see you turning again, I hadn't realised that you had made the move up North, how you finding it up there? Will miss our chats and your great expertise with your pen engraving, as it happens got a few people who would like their pens engraved . I'm sure even with limited equipment your pens will still be striking.
