    Default Lest We Forget

This Years donation to my local RSL for their ANZAC Day Raffle

The Cigar Pen is made using a Slouch Hat Lapel Pin, it had some minor adjustments done to the back of it and my finger at the same time on the disk sander, buts whats a little blood in memory
the bottom section has watch gears, which for me means that although time has past, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

The Siera is made using the artwork of Julie-Anne Kilmartin, she is an Australian artist that i am working with getting her art onto pens

A little blood is nothing compared to what many in the service gave.

A hope the raffle was a good fund raiser.

Like I said on the other forum. They are stunning pens and also a great tribute. Well done.
Until a few weeks ago, I had no idea what ANZAC day was or is. It was PenPal's wonderful wife, Wilma, that explained it to my wife and me while she graciously escorted us around the amazing Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
So again, thank you Australia, thank you New Zealand and of course thanks Wilma for enlightening us.

Wow Mik, that Cigar is superb, the Sierra is pretty special as well.

I am working away now so have less spare time than usual, I got my pen finished last Thursday night and got it to the blokes at the RSL on Friday morning, I heard they sold 150 raffle tickets @$1 on Friday, so hopefully they did quite well with it by ANZAC Day. Mine was a Gallipoli Pine Cigar same as the last two years, I didn't get a photo of this one unfortunately .
I know after last year, we had agreed to do a trade for this years pens, and I apologise for not getting my act together early enough. Hopefully it might happen for next year.
