    Default Lignum Vitae Cigar Pen.

As the title suggests, a pen turned fron Lignum Vitae. I was surprised at how well and easily the LV turned. Pic 2 has the standard pen for size comparison.

    Hi,

The photo doesn't really do the colour justice. The darker colour is a khaki sort of colour. From the moment I saw the blank I thought it would be a great pen. It is sanded to 1000 grit, EEE'd then sanded 2500 grit then EEE'd again, then Shellawaxed.

Anyone know where I can get some more??

Dan - Where did you get the fittings?

I would like to make some cigar pens, big fat buggers, but fountain pens not ball points.

Can't find the pen fittings. Any ideas?

    By the way, nice pen.

    Bodgy,

I got the pen kit from Pen Turners Paradise. Not sure if available as a fountain pen but if you PM 'Ruffy' on this board, he will be able to answer you. He has all ready seen this thread once so he may answer here. Link to the site: http://www.penturnersparadise.com/

Hi I have made a few of these in the past out of Jarrah, turned out great.

I bought them from : http://www.thewoodsmith.com.au/ they are a great mob to deal with and they specialise in mailorder.

I was contacted by Russell from Pen Turners Paradise (now blue dingo), and the result is that he has put one of the above pics on his website...
