Default Masters of the Fountain Pen - Harumi Tanaka

Came across this link on another forum, really shows what can be done with rudimentary tools and lots of skill.

So next time you are trying to convince yourself that you really "need" that next expensive tool or widget, just go and practice some more.

Brilliant. Mr Tanaki is certainly a fine craftsman. We think we do nice work with all our expensive tools but his work is truly subperb using so little.

    Awesome!

I've long said that it's not the tools that make the finished product, it's the artisan's skill.

And Mr Tanaki is certainly an accomplished artisan! (In the true, original meaning of the word, not this modern 'PR-speak.' )
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Fantastic, I love the way they make the threads in a jiffy! takes me ages with all the care in the world and then still need more practice! I think I need better tools,;and plenty of practice! Amos

Looks so simple, but we all know its not, it's all about his skill that allows him to achieve the end result. I bet his tools were razer sharp too

True craftsmen I think, I watched some of the others too and they were equally amazing.
