Default Mother Nature Meets Stained Glass Windows

This my Entry in to the Advance Casting Section for the Bash
It got me a 1st placing, thanks to everyone who voted for it

i have incorporated my Stained Glass Windows design with some Burl Edge
i think it looks like Mother Nature is Reclaiming Technology ... i am sure she will win out in the end

Embossed Aluminum Tape, Copper Wire, Armor Plates, Watch Gears and York Gum Burl (my Favorite) ... All cast in Crystal Clear Polyester Resin

Originally this was to be a Highlander Pen - There Can Be Only ONE!!!
the Original was the Cigar Pen, but i decided to make and enter a Fountain Pen ... Even Highlander had a Sequel

A deserved win Mik, against some very good opposition. I am glad you have been recognised for your work in this field that you have really stamped as your own. Well done mate.

Having looked forward to this standard of mixed media I was never going to be more pleased than to to see this result.

Congratulations also on the IAP recognition MIK.

Yes, it’s been too quiet here for too long. But thanks to Peters post there has been a bit of a resurgence lately. Hopefully we can keep it going, and make this forum an interesting place again.

With so many places a pen is shown it wears on one to comment every time we see it. You have a right to be proud of your work but when I see it on IAP, Facebook and here and you may post elsewhere too that I don't see, replying to every one won't always happen especially when there is a like button. Remember too that the 400+ views will be from other woodworkers on the site that see the New Posts and look for a second to see what it is and then blow on to the next post. There are all those bots keeping tabs on everything that add to the view count. So in reality there may be only 20 or 30 pen turners that come to this corner of the site to look at the pens with any regularity with more only occasionally.

Very nicely assembled and cast and deserving of the win - congratulations.
