Default Not a oen, but uses pen parts

decided to see if I could make a cheap stylus as my kids school are mandating iPads next year. So, with a spare 7mm stylus end and a 7mm tube. I made a closed end stylus

Very clever use of parts. Well done. Certainly gives food for thought.

Potential for a necklace there. Might be a great way to not loose the thing. Although I guess they do have pencil cases. But do they if they have an ipad too?

I thought a stylus needed to have conductive surface. Does the timber work?

I have often pondered doing one. Love the idea.

That's what the rubber thing on the end is. They are sold to convert a standard pen into a pen/stylus combo

Use one of the necklace pen kits and convert it...

Well the first one turned out ok, thought I would do another one, but with a prettier timber. Dug out some blackwood from the box and had another go.

Dave the conductor is the brass tube ,these work great, can be fitted to slimlines as well as sierras,so you get a real pen and a stylus, no smearing of screen either And as a bonus if you live in a cold place they work with gloves on as well hehe. Cheers ~ John
