Default Smallest Pen Blank? Multi Function Pen

Just had to try this pen, which has the smallest blank I have found. At least I didn't waste any of the Osage Orange timber - this blank required the massive length of 38mm ! Only trouble with that sized blank is that it doesn't do justice to the timber, so I made a second Multi Function pen using the end of an acrylic blank and didn't feel so guilty! The cap at the clip end screws over the nib while using the screwdriver/s. The multi functions are: Pen - Measure - Spirit Level - Philips Head screwdriver - normal Flat screwdriver - Stylus. But definitely only useful for verrrrrrrrry small jobs

Gary, where are these kits from?

I have a few tradie mates, these would be a good gag gift as most have gone into management roles.

G'day Pat. These are from Penkits Mall (Xiamen Rizheng) in China. All prices are in $US but at least that looks better than a few weeks ago. They are still shipping (although air freight is a bit slower) and shipping costs are not cheap. I'm sure your tradie mates would love to measure up renovations with the 7cm tape!

    Cheers, Gary

Love this mate Suprcheap had the main pen for sale for 25 to 32 dollars. I picked one up with membership and a real good tape measure etc. They dicontinued them out at 10 cents ech so I bought 40 to get the short biros that sell for around 1.90.That sale lasted one day here in canberra. The membership one had the rubber top and those bits as you described. Well seen and executed mate.

PS I use the measure with my blanks when sizing them.

    Kind regards Peter.
