Pen Blanks
Hey there,
I answered a post by 'Spirit Flutes' about some Rosewood pen blanks, a cuple of PM's were exchanged and a parcel turned up at my house Friday morning, there was some Rosewood, White Cedar, Silky Oak, Red Cedar, Rose Sheoak, and something else that I will call 'Was Tree' quite a nice package. I have some Rosewood and Silky oak glued up for some pens to return with my Payment. will post pics soon.

Rosewood European
Hey There,
Made a European out of Rosewood last night, I have a Cigar and a Sierra glued up so they should look pretty good, I think I have another Timber to put in the Favourite's box.
Finished with CA/BLO and Autoglynn Liquid Wax

Nice work HazzaB, yes it's lovely looking stuff when you ge t a finish on it the NSW Rosewood and don't you just love the smell when turning the stuff. Theres plenty more RW blanks available if anyone wants some. Its SpiritFlutes BTW not Flute guy even though I am a guy that makes flutes lol !! Just so others can find me. Love your pens mate.

"Was tree" must be the coloured Qld Maple I sent you, if you havn't played with this stuff well its premo stuff. I have no doubt you'll like it. I have some exotic pen blanks I grabbed from a freinds wood shop for forum members, I've mixed this with a few blanks I have like the rest of the rosewood and I'll post pics soon. Includes Qld, Nsw Rosewood, Euro Walnut (awesome stuff some of the nicest stuff I ever worked) Sasafras, Huon, Mertle and other choice woods. Look out for the post later this evening.
