My Next Two Pens
Hi All,
A productive weekend, two more pens (with another two stalled while I try and work out how to finish them!)
Having run out of time to complete my presents for the kids I have started on the four I need over the weekend. All the recipients chose Carbara kits in various plating, they then chose a timber blank from the stash.
The photographs below show 2 out of the 4, Holly Banksia in Black Titanium & another figured Tasmanian Blackwood in Titanium.
Not shown are the two that I am having trouble deciding how to finish - might put them up late to day for suggestions.
I have made these photographs a little larger, please let me know if they are about the right size for people to view, also kept the background neutral - and dug out the real camera and not used my phone camera this timeRegards
Brendan

Hey Brendan,
That Banksia sure looks interesting - nice piece of wood. You sure the other is Titanium? It looks more like black chrome.
Interesting you said they chose Carbara's - what was their other choices. I'm just trying to decide whether I make some Carbara's myself, but not sure how popular they'll be.

Hi Russell,
Went and checked the packet, you were right - Black Chrome it is
I basically told my kids to pick whatever kit they liked on the Addictive site, as they all have fairly large hands they chose the Carbara kits, I had them, plus a couple of sierras and assorted other kits on hand but all three decided on the Carbara's.
Will see how they like them when they are next over.Regards
Brendan
