As the April Challenge seems to be garnering quite a bit of momentum, and interest, I thought, I might finally need a pen press, so on went the thinking cap, my design consultant was briefed (aka google) and below is what was produced.

Very neat and professional job, Fumbler
. A thousand times better than my attempt, so I now use the lathe as a press. Saves space and looks and works much better than my my original "pen press designed by a pen pusher".

yep problem solved but being a challenged op I just use my vice with soft jaws, so far probably done 100 plus pens with no issues.
