    As the April Challenge seems to be garnering quite a bit of momentum, and interest, I thought, I might finally need a pen press, so on went the thinking cap, my design consultant was briefed (aka google) and below is what was produced.

    Pen pressing made easier right away mate,so well done and shown.

    Very neat and professional job, Fumbler . A thousand times better than my attempt, so I now use the lathe as a press. Saves space and looks and works much better than my my original "pen press designed by a pen pusher".

    yep problem solved but being a challenged op I just use my vice with soft jaws, so far probably done 100 plus pens with no issues.
