Default To purchase Pen Parts

I am on holidays for quite some time in China and then Sweden. Currently in Langfang which is south of Beijing about 45mintues drive.

I will be to more places as time passes. What I would like to know is there any pen turning parts place in China or a place to get tools from.

Of course this all depends on the better half agreeing with what I would like to do.

So please post what is known.

I guess I am hoping to have members from China suggest places to visit that relate to wood turning or pens.

Would be nice to visit a shop or two. I do not always have to purchase everything, I do have resistance in the form of a wife.

Run a Google search and you will find some but I think you have to buy large numbers of kits to do any good. I googled it once and the minimum was around 500 I think. Then you have to check Australian Customs to see if you need a licence to import large quantities into the country - maybe that no longer exists.

Also check with the Australian consulate or embassy in China as they will have a list of businesses registered. Unless you are setting up a retail business or planning on mass producing pens I wonder if it is worth the effort.
Best of luck
Greg

Hey Christos,

All the contacts we have for Work (Marine Construction) are Minimum 5000 ( Five Thousand) units and it's pay up Front and they will get a proto type to you in about 3-6 months

There are people here in Aus who have already jumped through the hoops, no need to try and re-invent the wheel, some one has already done that.

I might been a little too specific. Maybe better to ask about tools in China. A shop or someplace that I can visit. Might post in general subsection.
