red jasper true stone emperor fountain pen
hi guys
just thought i would show off my first emperor fountain pen and also my first true stone blank
i had been researching on how to drill it and turning it before i started it
didnt want to stuff it up i had no problems with drilling didnt use any water just some compressed air now and again
sanded to 12k micromesh and the finished with rustins burnishing cream
looks way better in the flesh than my pics

To be honest I think the blank gets lost under all the bling of that kit. It may not be true in person but in the photos that is how it appears to me.
Looking beyond that you have done a very nice job on turning and finishing and it is a nice looking blank well doneCheers Rum Pig

A special pen those hehe, the truestone varies in difficulty but none are impossible It does dress up the high end kits though ,well done . Cheers ~ John
