Default One repair 2 new bullet pens

I had a customer looking at my bullet pens on display at the markets yesterday ,asked if I could do one for him the same as one he already had purchased in WA on his travels , He went and got it from his car ,and it was one I havn't done before the M16,he was leaving the coast on tuesday ,but as a "taswegion " he wanted huon pine . While looking at his pen I noticed it had a nasty crack 2/3 along the barrel so I said I would fix that for him as well at the same time I would order an M16 kit and post them both back to him . Was nice bit of Tassie blackwood I suspect , Of course I never had a kit so today I got one after some hunting around and while I was at it I made one for stock from PSI with a scope instead of a rifle clip. Ahhh! the things we do to make a sale cheers ~ John

Must be on the same wavelength today Bdar

A nice trio there John. The Blackwood certainly had a crack in it. I love the Birdseye Huon Pine, you have a good stash I see, now where did you say you lived I wish my customer wanted something like Huon for their pen. As you said mate the things we do for a sale. lovely work as usual John. The PSI do you buy from PSI or their resellers, because PSI charge like a scrub bull for postage.

Great work John and a nice little repair to the Blackwood. I have some at home from Timberbits and its called Fiddleback - same timber. I bet he left the pen on the car dash in the sun

You are right about PSI Darren , any of their stuff I want comes through Woodturningz or Wooden whimsies, both of whom are resellers and much easier and cheaper to deal with than PSI themselves, usually have better prices and will use the cheaper postage when possible cheers ~ John

All looking good John good to see you repairing someone else's work make the customer happy. Possible split from being kept in the car
