Looks fine to me but wouldn't it be better under a sub-forum so you don't have to scroll through pages and pages of different pens and dozens of comments about different pens all on the one thread.

I look at a lot of threads without commenting, sometimes it's because any feedback I would make has already been provided or I don't like the piece. Other times a 'like' would be sufficient as anything else would just be words on a screen.

I have noticed that the replies to threads where work has been posted seem to have dropped since the option for a 'like' has been provided. I'm happy to know someone likes what I made and any written replies may be requests for more information on what was done or for them the 'like' wasn't enough which is sometimes the case for me as well.

As for the critique section, I think it would have been a good place for me to post pens a few years ago when I was starting out and I may very well put some experimental pieces up in there now but while I will view the thread, I doubt I will be a regular contributer with pens. That said, I'm more than happy to receive all feedback in any of my threads, it's generally pretty hard to offend me

It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

The "like"button could be a contributor I guess. I would not like to see it taken away, as I think its a great feature.
I often use a "like" instead of a "good on ya mate" post when I don't have anything constructive to say or a question to ask.
