    Default It "SEAMS" to be

This is a specific question as opposed to a general question about seams on pen tubes. For those that cast material thicker than paper and also not sleeves this question is for you. How do you handle the seams??? Do you overlap or do you butt them together??? How do you glue the material to the tube and keep the seams tight?? How do you cut the material?? I would be interested in your methods and it would be great if you had a few photos to help explain and show.

The material I want to use is about the thickness of carbon fiber. It only comes in sheet form so no sleeve. Any of this type casting I have always used sleeves and thus no seams to deal with. Thanks in advance for the replys.

I have random shape scissors (also zig zag and a few other ones) and just join them up. I use trial and error to get the lengths right on scrap paper first
