Anyone selling molds at the moment?
Hi folks,
Trying to figure out the easiest way to set myself up for casting simple 'paper wrapped around the tube' type blanks to start with - is anyone out there making molds to fit pen tubes?
Looking to start with sierras, and hoping I can do it without spending time learning how to make the molds!
Cheers,
Danny

Borand, thanks for the info, I think Timberbits is Australian supplier so postage would be cheaper. Amos

Hey Danny if you really want to get into casting ? I notice you are in a suburb of brisbane ? then your best bit would be to contact Tony at Perfect Pens and Pencils I am sure that he will help you out in all sorts of casting. Not sure if he has molds but certainly has anything else that you might need and he is a great bloke to go with it.
Cheers Ian

For solid blocks you can use malemine sheet sealing the joints with hot melt glue. Usually last 2-3 casts before they start to stick if using PR. Or you can use cutting boards.
There are also a lot of silicon forms you can use that are normally used for cooking or soap/candle making.
