every other time i have done the same thing and its turned up as a great long link

MBUMIK,
Highlight the link in the window you want to link to then type your regular response in the "reply to thread" window. Highlight the word you want to use as your link then click on the icon which looks like a world globe and a chain link on it, a pop up window will come up and you just paste your link in there.
CorbsIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

copy the link you want to use.
then highlight the word (pen parts in this case) and click the icon at the top of the text box that is earth with a chain link below it. paste the link in there, hit okay and hey presto, you have a hyperlink without the massive web address.
hopefully that works
