Oh! Great, I can see myself out at night with a torch on hands and knees, looking under pieces of wood, calling out, "Where are you little spider?, come here to Daddy, he's got some nice resin waiting for you!" Amos OR ---- "here Spidy Spider, I have an airplane ticket to WA, your going to meet a nice friend over there! he is such a sweet man,(ha! ha!), you will love it in his resin pot, all types of webs in there!"----
Good, better, best, never let it rest;

John, when I worked on the Vegie farm, there were always stacks of redbacks, especially under any old metal,(plough discs etc). Funnily enough they didn't scare me, but those Triantulas used to lay flat between the wooden lettuce boxes, and when you would least expect it, they would make a dash for it! much to a surprised young man!-, Oh, well, I'll let that mad man in WA take care of snakes and spiders, just give me wood. Amos

Who cares what they are or were!!
When one of those gets you in a half Nelson it's still a bad feeling.

i know this is going to get Ians heckles up
but me i am a firm believer that the only good coiley is 10ft in front of a shot gun
as for the daddy long legs on steriods a very big can of mortien
the very thought of having either in your house yard gives me the creeps
not even the crocs are save up in this part of the world
they do make a nice pen blank but
i wonder what the daddy long legs will look like
cheers Tony

Yous guys crack me up its just a spider Lol
And as for the Tarantulas look at your hand and that's about how big they can especially the females ;-)
Now just for a bit of here are my two T's
This is my little guy he is a Strenuus
This is my girl she is a bit bigger than the other one she is a Rubiseta
And yes I hold them and yes they are mildly venomous to humans Lol so as Amos said let the crazy man from WA have them
