    I may have misled you Peter as I didn't make my pens from this particular batch, just from some Spalted Sassafras.
    I looked through my pen photos but it appears I didn't take any of those. I think I have some left and need to make more pens, so I will get photos this time.

    Thanks mate me too never had much success with Sassafrass with thick bands of black in pens but these fine lines in the Spalt look very promising.
