Stylus Streamline
I have 2 daughters both of whom have an iPad, number one daughter sent me an email yesterday suggesting I make a stylus pen for her, she had seen one on Ebay.
She reckoned I could make something a bit more interesting and thought she would give me a new idea for pens.
It so happened I had bought some stylus tips on Ebay about 3 weeks ago, before I knew that David had the complete slimline kits. (I paid as much for the tip only as David charges for the whole kit!)
Anyway, quickly knocked up a Streamline from a pre-turned blank this morning.
The blank is one of a series of "glittery" ones I made up for my granddaughters and this one was left over.
Might make a slimline as well as one without the clip as well, to see what works best.
As I don't have an iPad I used it both on my Android smart phone and on my 7" GPS, in both cases it works very well, better than my fumble finger!

That is the perfect "girls" pen.
Writes, works on the pads, has bling and glitter...works all the way around.
I would bet if you made up a few and took them to a trade show you wouldn't bring any back home!"That's why I love my computer,,,,,,,, my friends live in it."

Beautiful work Fred, your daughter has to be real pleased with that one lots of glitter there.
Must do some of these stylus pens for myself as I have the big fumble finger as well

Thanks Ed and Sam
Wanted to see what a straight slimline would look like, without a clip.
Only problem was I didn't have a gold slimline centre band, so used a copper one until my order from David arrives.
Blank is one of my own solid colour swirls.
Must say I prefer this to the Streamline as far as using as a stylus is converned, also like the no clip feel, much lighter overall.

Both very nice, I do especially like the slimline without the clip for use as a stylus, good looking blanks to start with and a great end result

Thanks guys, waiting on my order from David now. We were in Melbourne today and whilst we were on the Western Ring Road an email came in from David querying an additional request I had emailed in, forgot to put some slimline centre bands in.
He came back to me to say that they would be included, free of charge, with the stylus kits to be dispatched tomorrow.
Tha's what I call customer service.
David also happened to mention in passing that he was doing this from New York
Oh, the wonders of modern communication and smart phones, the world has become a real small place indeed. (Oh and I might mention that SWMBO was driving so I wasn' emailing on my smart phone whilst driving)

I am David. I am the guy who owns Timberbits.
Electronic communication has made the world a very small place. All they need to invent now is a transporter that can zap me from one side of the world to the other side of the world like in Star Trek, desperately missing my own bed and the kids. 4 more days of travelling before I get home.
Oh and BTW very nice pen Fred, thanks for sharing.
Regards
David
