Thou Shalt Not Quill
I would appreciate any constructive review...not of the photography as I try to put all of my efforts into making fine writing instruments before I switch to photography. The nib is a Mitchell #3 Calligraphy, the Holder is Jarrah as is the Stand. The Holder came from one of the members over at IAP. The Feather from 'Feathers' in NSW. I had the stand made by one of our Woodturning group members as I definitely do not have the skills or equipment to do general woodwork. The next lot will have a turned stand. The biggest problem I have now is getting hold of Ink Wells...this one came from Wills Quills and they no longer stock them: tried Ebay without any success..so any suggestions will be gratefully accepted....George

Nice idea. Have a look in antique stores for old ink wells to add a special feature to them. The stand can be made to hold them. Try pen making. Its not hard to pick up the techniques and you will get so much more pleasure out of having the final product all your work.

G'day mate,
Try this site, but as a turner I would be looking at some glass tea candle holders and your turned top.
