Default Time To Master Something Else :-D

    Hi All

Well here is my first crack at some of my own polymer clay blanks D. Had a blast putting these together and many more to come. Started with some basic designs for now and will push it further that's for sure well enough rambling here they are

    Blank before turning

    Executive Sierra with the blank

And these two that are yet to be done D bit of a crazy design

    Definitely had fun

    Thanks

I have seen these sort of clay pens before but do not understand how they are made. Must admit they do look very interesting.

Dorno, he has mastered crazy things like, "the Python Strangle hold" and the "No laugh when tickled by spider"! So while the snakes and spiders are watching, he gets some clay and molds it onto a brass pen tube, then cut vey thin strips of decoration and sticks them onto the clay, then he bakes the whole thing, puts it on the lathe for finishing and has a beautiful pen, the snakes fall off the rafters and the spiders do a tarantella, and we just shake our heads and say "Thank God he lives in WA!"
