    I will have to strike while the iron is hot John .

    These blanks are almost down to size when you get them, I had to sand off about 0.1mm, I just used 600 w&d.

    these do come up a treat and Toni is an ARTIST thats for sure

    did you do a CA finish over the top??? i always do to give a little more protection

    a few years ago i purchased some canes from here, they are still in a bow around here somewhere, one day when work doesn't get in the way i will have to drag them out and make some more blanks

    Mik, yes I did give it a CA coating, without it I dont think the PC will stay looking good for long.


    With your canes, the best thing for them is to store them in the fridge.

    Got me stumped as to how Toni does those blanks, and she doesn't give anything away when asked!

    I wonder if the butterflies are actually decals??

    Art, the butterflies are also PC canes just like the flowers.

    There is some utube videos etc on the internet showing peoples methods of doing this sort of thing. But there is a lot of trial and error (mainly errors ) to get it working for you.
    Nobody will give away all their secrets .
