Default Least toxic glue for brass pen tubes

Hi I'm Penqueen. 😀 Does anyone know what is the least toxic glue for brass pen tubes that go into the drilled pen 🖋 blanks. Super glue doesn't agree with me so I would really appreciate some feedback please.
    Sincerely Penqueen.

I use Polyurethane, its messy but not allergenic. Sika seems to flow better for me than the others I have tried. If you don't want to finish with CA you can use wipe on poly as well.

Epoxy would be top of the list for me. Araldite'll do. I prefer the 24hr Araldite as I used to spend several hours batching up many, many blanks at a time. I find the other, quicker ones have too short a working time.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

A lot of beginners use CA to glue in their tubes as it is cheap and quick. Unfortunately it's crap and fails sooner or later, so it's good you are looking into alternatives.

Me, epoxy or polyurethane. I use polyurethane when you want some flexibility in the joint for those pen timbers that are brittle but love to move (like ebony or snakewood)
